Welcome to Confessions From My First House!

For two years, the six of us lived in a 55 person mansion, also known as a sorority house. There, we had two cooks, a house cleaner, a house mom, a maintenance man, and a security guard. But now we've grown. We're 19, 20, and 21-year-old adults, and it's time (FINALLY) to move out on our own.

So here we are, six women living together under one roof, where cross streets define our location and we carry keys instead of door codes in our minds. We're lacking air conditioning, enough room in the refrigerator, any semblance of a storage closet, and a proper nights sleep... but it's our first house and what we lack in other things we make up for in ants (ew!) and love (aww!).

My name is Sarah Helfgott, and this is my blog. Here, I will share my experiences and advice as I grow and learn to live on my own.
